School Group Programs

Our group programs are facilitated by Grow Wellbeing’s health professionals. They have been carefully crafted to deal with a broad range of well being related issues that primary and high school students experience. Group sessions provide a valuable adjunct to the overall learning that students engage in. They are often fun, engaging, uplifting and partner well with our individual therapy sessions and are all evidence based. Our group sessions can be charged privately, through NDIS or bulk billed through Medicare alongside the 10 individual therapy sessions offered though a student’s ‘mental health care plan’.

They are 10 session programs and explore the following topics:

  • Friendships

  • Resilience

  • Bullying

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Mindfulness and relaxation

  • Life skills

  • Self-care

  • Understanding personal strengths

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Letting go of self-sabotaging behaviour

"Evidence reflects that a focus on practical skills development enables students to take away usable and simple tools applicable to their general wellbeing. It is the best approach to building resilience and a positive mindset for improved mental health"
